The selection process for the three regional experts tasked with providing operational support in the strategic areas of the “Fi.Le – Filiera Legale 2” project has been successfully finalized. This initiative is co-funded by the European Union under the 2021–2027 National Program for Security and Legality.
The selected professionals will work in the territories of Foggia, Rosarno, and Trapani, bringing specific expertise to local fruit and vegetable supply chains to combat illegal activities and promote transparency in the sector.
The selection process
The experts were identified through two separate public selection procedures:
- Experts for Foggia and Trapani: selected through the Notice of January 27, 2025, the professionals were officially contracted on May 22, 2025.
- Expert for Rosarno: identified through the Notice of March 21, 2025, with the contract finalized on July 4, 2025.
The technical team consists of fully operational professionals whose contribution is essential to the implementation of the project, particularly in:
- Conducting preliminary analyses of the local context;
- Defining precise areas of intervention;
- Identifying the specific crops for project activities and monitoring;
- Providing ongoing support throughout the project through in-depth analysis and data monitoring.
With the technical team now complete, the Fi.Le 2 Project strengthens its on-the-ground presence, ensuring constant monitoring in territories key to the legality of the Italian fruit and vegetable supply chain.
