Fi.Le 2 is built on a strong network of cooperation managed by BMTI, the public agency for market development and the dissemination of economic information, which leads the Project.
Project leader: BMTI S.c.p.A.
It was established by the Italian Minister of Agricultural and Forestry Policies with decree n. 174 of 2006 and subsequent amendments. It is the agency of the Italian Chambers of Commerce System in charge of market regulation, development and transparency, and prices and economic information dissemination.
The project proposal submitted by BMTI was approved by the Italian Ministry of of Domestic Affairs by decree on November 12, 2024. Following this approval, the company officially leads the project as its primary beneficiary.
Partner: Italia Ortofrutta Società Consortile
Through the Partnership Agreement signed on March 13, 2025, Italia Ortofrutta officially joins the operational core of the Fi.Le 2 Project.
Italia Ortofrutta is the National Union of Organizations of Fruit and Vegetable Producers recognized by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies with over 50 years of activity. It represents and protects 140 affiliated organizations and stimulates the aggregation, development and enhancement processes of the fruit and vegetable organized system.
A Network for Legality
The project involves the participation of AGEA (the Agricultural Payments Agency) for the sharing of information assets, as well as law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders interested in data utilization and the promotion of legality.
